Lazar Lakic claims in his lawsuit that he bought exclusive rights to “Hello” from producer Tony Fadd. Those beats then showed up as a sample in Fetty Wap’s April 2014 single from his self-titled debut album.

The songwriter said in the suit that Fadd tried to buy back the beats in January 2015 but Lakic refused to do so, according to TMZ. Lakic says he never got a dime for “Trap Queen,” which spent 12 weeks on the Billboard Top 10 and was nominated for two Grammy awards in February.
