[Single] Taiyamo Denku & Conway The Machine – Be Who You Are | @TaiyamoDenku @Dcypha

Taiyamo Denku and Conway The Machine smash the term “fake it to you make it” with their collaborative effort, “Be Who You Are”, produced by Dcypha

“Be Who You Are” is the lead off single from seasoned Milwaukee emcee Taiyamo Denku’s forthcoming album, “No Industry Standard”. To properly set the flame to the project’s wick, the collab king tag teams a moody Dcypha production with Griselda Records own, Conway. The pair speak on killing trends, keeping it all the way real and staying true to self, something both men have done thru their lengthy career stretch.

Not just another dope Hip Hop cut, Denku and Conway utilize the chorus to tell two separate, autobiographical stories of the streets. The revered Hall N’ Nash  spittah kicks rhymes circling around his New York state of mind. Taiyamo approaches things from a semi-similar angle and rhymes about the cold streets of his hometown, Milwaukee.  Denku goes in depth on his love for his city and never succumbing to the darker side of the area.

The single couldn’t have came at a better time when we have the next generation of Hip Hop brainwashed by prescription drugs,  viral trends and the same old redundant auto-tuned music from the next Lil something or other. The message in the song is simple, no matter where you are or what you have going on, simple “Be Who You Are”.

Aside from the new single, Conway recently debuted the hard bodied, ten track “Blakk Tape” alongside producer, Daringer.

Taiyamo Denku’s “No Industry Standard” will feature some heavy duty features. You can catch him trading bars about the good life alongside Lil Kim on “Fabulous Life”, mass murdering emcees aside legendary artists such as KRS One, Chino XL, Royal Flush and Saukrates – among others. Make sure to stay tuned for upcoming singles, videos and the official album drop throughout the 2018 time span.
