Up-and-coming rap star and entertainer, Cordarro “R.O.E” Wright, formerly known as “Swagg Boi” was born and raised in the streets of Mount Pleasant located in Northeast Texas. Growing up in the unruly parts of East Texas, R.O.E dealt with a dysfunctional household with little parental guidance due to the struggles that his parents had to endure. He was born with a musical gift.. R.O.E’s father had him on stage performing as early as twelve years old and soon after R.O.E started writing his own lyrics and rhymes at fifteen. At 18 he knew that being a artist/entertainer was his life. He wrote about the things he saw in the streets and things that intrigued him about the lifestyles of true hustling, that matured him into the artist that you see today. Learning his craft was important to him and he modeled some of his same mannerisms from artists that inspired him but he added his own swag to it and “R.eal O.va E.verything” is the artist that deserves his shot. He paid attention to the industry and acquired the art of knowing how to brand himself as an artist. He knew rap was taking a fall but he also knew putting East Texas on the map and him knowing he could breathe life back into the game, R.O.E chose to go full speed ahead. Investing in himself was key, performing at as many shows as possible, and knowing how to get his songs on the radio took a lot of motivation. If you have not seen Roe perform your are in for a life changing experience the way Roe interacts and connects with the crowd you will know he is a “SuperStar”. “Lit”, “Fuck How You Feelin”, and “Pull Up” are local hits and are now playing on radio stations throughout Texas. R.O.E’s dream is to be an international artist and entertainer whose legacy was built from the ground up.
