Blizz Vito’s classic drill anthem “Opp Down Ricky, Ricky, Ricky” is inspired by John Singleton’s Boyz in the Hood. Vito delivers hard bars followed by a catchy chorus, “Ricky, Ricky, Ricky,” as the rapper is a poised example of the momentary rise of Brooklyn drill music.

Blizz Vito aka BU (Bossed Up) is a Brooklyn based artist who grew up in Clinton Hills, the same neighborhood as the legendary rapper Biggie Smalls. Blizz discovered his talent for rapping at the age of 19 and ever since he has been working hard to master his craft. He entered the music scene with his first single “Right Now”, released on July 19, 2019, that garnered over a million views on YouTube in four months.

His fans will be delighted to know that this year, Blizz has released his new song “Opp Down” aka “Ricky, Ricky, Ricky”, a new classic drill anthem birthed from John Singleton’s Boyz in the Hood with the catchy chorus “Ricky, Ricky, Ricky” poised for a meteoric rise from the Brooklyn Drill music underground phenomenon to mainstream success with talents of legendary Drill Producer 808 Melo production drill music Beat. It is interesting to note that 808 Melo is the producer for Travis Scott, Pop Smoke, Jackboys “Gatti”, a Billboard Top 100 song and he is the exclusive producer of Pop Smoke’s debut EP and K.O.T.C. (Kidz on the Corners) production. Blizz takes his inspiration from the classic movie Boyz in the Hood to describe the plight of the young men in his latest song ‘Opp Down’.

Right from his first single, Blizz garnered the interest of media and popular Hip Hop media like Allhiphop.com, Respect Mag, Thisis50.com, and TheRapFest Magazine. In December of 2019, he premiered and released his second viral hit “Fake Friends” which had over a million streams on all streaming platforms and over 600,000 plus views on YouTube in less than a month. Not slowing down he released ‘Opp Down’ which is an adrenaline drill anthem with his melodic chorus.

Blizz further adds, “Music is my passion for and the words in my music are derived due to life events. Rap is an outlet for me to express myself and my experiences being Black and Latino in America.”

Blizz is currently producing music through his own label Bossed Up Music Entertainment. He has faced a lot of struggles in life and worked really hard to be where he is now. He believes in never stop dreaming and keep working hard to achieve bigger success in life.

Amanda Goldben, more commonly known as Mz. On Point has always had a love for music, growing up in a household filled with music. Over the years she found herself more involved behind the scenes, then in the spotlight. She realized she wanted to help other obtain their dreams not just live her own. After working in a professional office setting and capacity for over 10 years, it was time to find something new. She wanted to find something that would fully utilized her skills and abilities, while still allowing her to be not only the main provider but also caregiver for her daughter. Almost accidentally discovering her love for music and her business skills could be used together Mz. On Point knew this was she was meant to do and began her research and networking to build not only her business and brand, but also those of the artists and clients she would be helping along the way. In November 2012 she realized that online promotions, public relations, and brand exposure where her “nitch”, all those years of office experience and computer work were showing their true worth and potential became endless. In a few short year she has had the privilege of working with some very influential people within the industry. In January of 2013 she began with DJ Shalamar and became a part of Team Fuego and now handles most of Southern Fuego’s social media & promotions. Attending sometimes dozens of events a month Mz. On Point quickly made a name for her brand throughout Central Florida. Being sure to attend key networking events, and conferences to not only network but more importantly to expand her knowledge of the industry and perfect the services she offers. January 2014 Mz On Point had the privilege of becoming apart of the infamous and world renowned DJ coalition, Team Bigga Rankin & the Cool Running DJs. May 2015 Mz On Point was honored to learn that she had been chosen to receive the Hard Hitta Award at the the 7th Annual SCM Awards which took place in Memphis, Tennessee. While she wasn't able to make the trip to accept the award one of her mentors Bigga Rankin accepted it on her behalf.
