BIRDMAN SUED FOR SAMPLING MUSIC
We all know Cash Money CEO Birdman is no stranger to lawsuits or paying them in that matter. Well today he got hit hard by some writers in the tune of a few million dollars.
Lil Wayne & Cash Money sampled some tracks for their song “You” and “Certified” and well apparently Birdman doesn’t want to pay up. What is ironic is Lil Wayne claims Birdman did the same thing to him as well which has a current separate lawsuit.
Birdman and Cash Money now have to pay the veteran writers a sum of $3.3 Million although Lil Wayne is still suing Birdman for $51 Million. We’re told Birdman will be paying the writers since he just scored a huge label deal with Apple Music.
The question is will Lil Wayne get awarded his judgement in his $51 Million lawsuit? Or we will continue to see wearing “F*ck Cash Money” hats and dissing the label. Lil Wayne might want to talk to his lawyers once Birdman’s label deal is finalized.

In January of 2013 she began with DJ Shalamar and became a part of Team Fuego and now handles most of Southern Fuego’s social media & promotions. Attending sometimes dozens of events a month Mz. On Point quickly made a name for her brand throughout Central Florida. Being sure to attend key networking events, and conferences to not only network but more importantly to expand her knowledge of the industry and perfect the services she offers. January 2014 Mz On Point had the privilege of becoming apart of the infamous and world renowned DJ coalition, Team Bigga Rankin & the Cool Running DJs. May 2015 Mz On Point was honored to learn that she had been chosen to receive the Hard Hitta Award at the the 7th Annual SCM Awards which took place in Memphis, Tennessee. While she wasn't able to make the trip to accept the award one of her mentors Bigga Rankin accepted it on her behalf.
