Though Chyna is set to marry Rob Kardashian, the trademark papers were filed two weeks before the engagement. Sources told the gossip site the Chyna doesn’t want any other women — including strippers — using her name.

The celeb’s attorney, Walter Mosley, said that the filing was motivated by a recent spate of endorsement offers, which made it all the more important that her likeness and name are legally guarded.

Chyna isn’t the first celeb to take interest in trademarking.

Tim Tebow successfully trademarked “tebowing” to describe his football prayer stance and Beyoncé and Jay Z filed to trademark Blue Ivy after their daughter’s birth in 2012. More recently, Kylie Jenner tried trademarking her first name, though singer Kyle Minogue publicly objected.
