Boxer Adrien Broner Arrested…Again
For the second time in two weeks, boxer Adrien “The Problem” Broner found himself detained in police custody, Tuesday. The former Floyd Mayweather understudy was booked at 10:19 a.m. in Ohio, shortly after being pulled over by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for parole violation.
It has been a busy month for the 26-year-old from Cincinnati. Despite being wanted on two separate charges, he was granted permission to carry-on with a scheduled fight in D.C. on April 1st, under the condition that he’d turn himself in afterwards. On April 4th, the fighter honored court orders by handing himself over for assault and robbery stemming from an attack at a bowling alley in January. To his fans’ surprise the former champ would show up on Instagram after he was released on $100,000 bail some hours later, posting the hashtags #AboutBillions and #ImGood.
Tuesday’s arrest was related to a November violation of probation dating back to a drunk driving offense in July. Broner was sentenced to 10 days for the infraction. His release is scheduled for April 22nd.
