Tupac Inducted Into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Tupac Shakur will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, along with Pearl Jam, Joan Baez, Electric Light Orchestra, Journey, and Yes. The induction ceremony will be held on April 7th, 2017, at Brooklyn‘s Barclays Center. Tupac Shakur will be the sixth hip-hop act to join the ranks of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run D.M.C., the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, and NWA have also made the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame cut. SOURCE: VLADTV

Beyonce Sued for Using Roc-A-Fella Logo
Beyoncé was hit with another lawsuit, this time for her use of the Roc-A-Fella logo. Dwayne Walker, the creator of the logo, says Bey never asked for his permission to use it in the 2013 music video for her hit song “Drunk in Love.” Walker claims the logo is prominently displayed in the video and he wants her to take it down or pay him for its use, according to TMZ. The logo, however, only appears briefly in the video, and it’s via Jay Z. Brisco Pleads Not Guilty in Fraud Case
South Florida rap artist Brisco pleaded not guilty to fraud and fake money charges on Tuesday in federal court in Fort Lauderdale. Brisco, also known as British Mitchell, 34, is charged with selling counterfeit cash and being part of a fraud ring that operated in South Florida. He is linked to at least $200,000 worth of fraud, according to court testimony. Mitchell, who was featured on Lil’ Wayne‘s 2009 Grammy Award-winning album Tha Carter III, has been jailed in Broward County since he was arrested earlier this month. Camila Cabello has left Fifth Harmony, the group announced in a note on Twitter late Sunday night. NFL Will Smith’s Killer Found Guilty
Cardell Hayes, the man who shot and killed New Orleans Saints star, Will Smith, was found guilty of manslaughter. Hayes argued that he was acting in self-defense in the road rage incident; however, the claim was rejected by a 12-person jury after a weeklong trial, and now faces up to 20-40 years in prison. According to NFL.com, the 29-year-old former tow truck driver and semi-pro football player was also convicted of attempted manslaughter for wounding Smith’s wife, Racquel Smith and will be sentenced in February. Back in the late 2000s, Florida rapper Brisco was one of the more promising acts that emerged from the momentum caused by Rick Ross and DJ Khaled. Kodak Black was released from jail in Florida and extradited to South Carolina, where he is set to begin a trial for sexual battery. Kodak Black has been released from the St. Lucie County jail, though he isn’t yet a free man, reports the Sun Sentinel.
