Bobby Shmurda Transferred To Another Jail
Ackquille Pollard aka Bobby Shmurda has been in jail since December 2014. According to XXL Mag, the charges brought against the rapper include two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, conspiracy to commit murder in the second degree, reckless endangerment, and one count of using drug paraphernalia. The Marin County Sheriff’s office reported on Tuesday morning (May 3) that Afeni Shakur Davis, the mother of late rapper Tupac Shakur, died on Monday night at age 69. Nearly two weeks to the day in which he is tried on an assortment of charges that could keep him in prison for 8-25 years, Bobby Shmurda, 21, filed a federal lawsuit against the NYPD, for false arrest pertaining to an unrelated case on Friday (April 29). Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, is suing over what his lawyers charge was an illegal raid of the apartment where he was detained on June 3, 2014, and slapped with a gun charge that was eventually dismissed.
