Colin Kaepernick has inked a book deal worth just over $1 million with Random House imprint One World, according to Page Six. One World is headed by book world superstar Chris Jackson who launched it last year. He also publishes JAY-Z and Ta-Nehisi Coates. It was previously reported that Kaepernick was seen “taking meetings with publishers in the New York offices of WME” to shop the planned book. A spokesperson for VH1 and the show’s producers say they collectively decided not to pick up Hazel’s option for the next season of ‘LHHH’ — but say that decision was made on Oct. 4. That’s a full two weeks before Hazel and her boyfriend went on a heinously homophobic social media rant. Lil Jon moved beyond the entertainment realm with his latest project. The famed producer opened a primary school for children in Ghana which he’s been raising money for quite some time. Lil Jon teamed up with Pencils of Promise or PoP, to open up the school in the Asuogyaman district of eastern Ghana. PoP was launched in 2009 with the purpose of bringing quality education to children in need on a global scale.
