Brawl at LHHNY Viewing Party
“Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Drewski got way more of a show than expected at his weekly viewing party — a couple of female cast members started throwing down. Drewski hosted the party at Dolce Lounge in Elizabeth, NJ Monday night and invited his co-star MariahLynn. That was his first mistake. We’re told MariahLynn tried to break up one fight after someone poured a drink on someone she knows, then she got doused … and the brawl was on, with MariahLynn right in the middle of fists flying. Eventually Drewski pulled her away from the mess, and everyone went back to partying … peacefully. Cops tell us no…

Gabrielle Union Sues BET
Lights, camera, faction. Actress Gabrielle Union fired off a lawsuit against BET, claiming the network tried to short-change her by stuffing more episodes into a single season of her show “Being Mary Jane” than she agreed upon, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 42-year-old star contends producers for the hit series vowed that seasons would never run more than 13 episodes, but they’re now trying to jam 20 shows into Season 4. Union is slated for a raise from $150,000 per episode to $165,000 in Season 5 and believes the network is attempting to “fraudulently extend” the terms of her contract, according to the lawsuit. The contract she signed, however,…

Nicki Minaj is the cover star of Marie Claire‘s November issue and, in her interview, she discusses double standards for women of color in media, competing with her male counterparts in the rap game, and how black women bear the burden of violence against black men in America. “When Kim Kardashian’s naked picture came out, [Sharon Osbourne] praised it, and my fans attacked her for being such a hypocrite,” Minaj tells Marie Claire. “So it wasn’t trashy and raunchy when a white woman did it, but it was when a black woman did it?
