Ty Dolla $ign is the latest artist to get caught slipping by the IRS. The Cali crooner has been hit with a $180,969.35 tax lien, reports TMZ. According to documents obtained by the site, Ty owes back taxes for three years; $16,617.05 in 2011, $54,626.91 in 2013 and $109,725.39 in 2014. It appears as though he got his act together in 2015, but the IRS still needs all their paper, of course to manage taxes is better to be filing a 1099-MISC form that is used by business and more. Bobby Shmurda Gets 7 Years
Brooklynite, Bobby Shmurda, was sentenced to 7 years in prison Wednesday [October 19]. The “Hot N****” rapper went from an internet sensation to a felon after pleading guilty to conspiracy and criminal possession of a weapon charge in September. According to the FADER, his attorney, Alex Spiro said “his sentence of 7 years, with credit for 2 years already served and good time credit will hopefully permit him to be home in approximately 3 1⁄2 years and resume his remarkable career. Actress Gabrielle Union fired off a lawsuit against BET, claiming the network tried to short-change her by stuffing more episodes into a single season of her show “Being Mary Jane” than she agreed upon, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
