Bobby Shmurda Sues NYPD for False Arrest
Nearly two weeks to the day in which he is tried on an assortment of charges that could keep him in prison for 8-25 years, Bobby Shmurda, 21, filed a federal lawsuit against the NYPD, for false arrest pertaining to an unrelated case on Friday (April 29). Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, is suing over what his lawyers charge was an illegal raid of the apartment where he was detained on June 3, 2014, and slapped with a gun charge that was eventually dismissed. After 26 years of developing some of the world’s biggest artists and producing platinum hit-records, Sean Combs has announced that he is retiring from the music business.
