Lil Wayne was gifted a key to the city of Lafayette in his home state of Louisiana, and Mayor-President Joel Robideaux made sure the key was made into a one-of-a-kind gold chain. Yo Gotti shot a music video inside the Henry County Courthouse, and neighbors and county officials are not happy about it. Yo Gotti shot the profanity-laced video for “Law” last month, but the county manager and board of commissioners say they never gave permission to shoot inside the courthouse. Rapper Gunned Down on Southside Chicago
Five people were shot while filming a music video on the South Side of Chicago overnight, with one of the victims falling casualty to the violence. Aspiring rapper Damond Dawson, 23, was pronounced dead on arrival after the shooting broke out at Foster Park just before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Two of the victims, men ages 18 and 25, were grazed, while a 20-year-old man was shot nine times in the leg. The news comes courtesy of DJ Akademiks, who obtained a video of Kodak being led into the backseat of a police SUV.
