However, Michael Jordan is putting his money where the critic’s mouths are, as he reportedly donated seven million dollars to clinics in at-risk communities located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Actor and comedian Nick Cannon joined protesters in St. Louis frustrated with the acquittal of former officer Jason Stockley who fatally shot a black man in 2011. Solange Knowles has announced a new show to benefit Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. The Houston native announced on Instagram that the concert, titled “Orion’s Rise,” will take place in Boston’s Orpheum Theater on Sept. 28.
