[Mixtape Review] DJ Esco – Project E.T.
The trap was never hotter than when Future and DJ Esco started releasing mixtape after mixtape. The fame from supporting his artist got him more recognition than he probably expected but DJ Esco has grown to be one of the most favored DJ’s in the industry. His hype on stage is just as real as how he sounds on tracks adding to Future’s already zealous bars. Now, he has released his own mixtape featuring artists that compliment his style of music and it’s HOT. Future of course is the main act for majority of the tracks, but he includes some slept on artists as well and they prove themselves to…

[Mixtape Review] Kodak Black “Lil Big pac”
Everybody’s favorite Project Baby of the street has done it again! In his most recent project Lil Big Pac, he took to the streets to explain some of his day to day struggles along with his newfound success. Kodak Black has been began a new wave in hip-hop, maybe even started a new epidemic more correctly phrased. His lyrics are as raw as some of street rappers Lil Boosie, with a flow and delivery as smooth as some of the greats like Drake. In this 13 track mixtape Kodak gives you everything you thought you wanted out of street music and more. He hit the game hard with the features…

[Mixtape Review] Paper Route Empire “Bosses & Shooters”
Independent music has made a wave for artists to be able to make the money that they all dream about making without having to sign a threatening contract. One of the bosses that made this evident is CEO of independent label, Paper Route Empire, Young Dolph. He released a mixtape this week with the newest signees to the label. The 16 track project leaves speakers bumping and heads nodding to the 808’s most of the way through. I can’t say for sure that I am sold on the artists, Jay Fizzle and Nino Brown, chosen to represent PRE on this mixtape. Some of their flows were a little dry and…

[Mixtape Review] Webbie- Savage Life 5
Savage Life was dope.. 2 was dope.. 3 was dope.. 4 was dope, so what do you guess Savage Life 5 is hittin like? If u guessed “dope” you’re wrong. It’s SUPER DOPE!!!. Of course, I’ve always believed that Webbie is one of the most underrated lyricists in the game. Just because you may not always agree with his message, you can’t deny his delivery and impeccable way with words. Savage Life 5 features several members of Trill Ent. Boosie is all through that thang, as well as the first Lady of Trill Wankeago and Foxx. Those were to be expected features to be expected but Roll it Up ft…

[Mixtape Review] Skoobzilla- Trouble
“How is you down my G? You ain’t got a pound at least? You must not did right by yo folk…You must ain’t real as you believe” -@TroubleDte6 (Str8 Out) I downloaded this mixtape the day it dropped, which was 5/5, and I haven’t stopped playing it since. It’s gone from my phone to my laptop to the car. Skoobzilla is a very solid body of work. With Features from Fetty Wap to Young Thug to Quavo & Skippa da Flippa there really is a track for everybody (assuming that you’re real because this isn’t “fad” music, it isn’t “fluff”, it isn’t “animated”) Its RNS front to back. Make sure you check out 2…
