NBC and ABC have reportedly banned a Lane Bryant commercial featuring plus-size models, according to TMZ. Austin Police Fatally Shot Black Unarmed Teenager
17-year-old, David Joseph has been identified as the naked teen who was shot and killed by an Austin police officer. According to Austin police Chief of Staff, Brian Manley, authorities were called on reports of a suspicious Black man in the area. The officer says the teen disobeyed orders and proceeded to charge at him. The incident took place away from the cruisers dash cam, so there wasn’t clear evidence if the teen was armed or if the officer used a taser before the fatal shot. Buffalo Bills’ LeSean McCoy Under Investigation
Early Sunday morning four current and former NFL players were allegedly involved in a fight that left two of three off-duty police officers hospitalized. Sources say LeSean McCoy, 27, Christopher Henderson, 26, Curtis Brinkley, 30, and Tamarcus Porter, 27, were inside the Recess Lounge in Philadelphia around 2:45 a.m. when they assaulted the cops over champagne. Officer Roland Butler was joined by Sgt. Daniel Ayres and Officer Darnell Jessie when Porter supposedly “tried to claim one” of their four bottles. The police report states the NFL players immediately “punched, kicked and stomped” Butler until all of the men involved were forced to leave the venue. Seattle Seahawks‘ running back, Marshawn Lynch, is reportedly retiring, and he may be walking away with $50 million. ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted, “Teammates still attempting to change his mind, but Seahawks’ RB Marshawn Lynch has told some close to him he plans to retire, per sources.” Although the exit may be bittersweet for fans, the Super Bowl champ will be walking away financially set. According to Forbes, Lynch has been living off of his endorsements deals for nine seasons, banking away $49.7 million from his NFL contracts.
