Guy Ferz – Bora Bora @FerzGuy

“Bora Bora” was envisioned by Guy Ferz and despite the catchy hook and wild lyrics, it really does mean something to him. Ferz states that going to Bora Bora has always been a dream of his, just like being an artist, and maybe one day he will be able to live an extravagant lifestyle and fulfill his dream in Bora Bora. This track is intended to bang and have high energy when people listen to it without the video, but then viewing it with the video is when the real comedic personality and vibrant artistry comes to life.

Guy Ferz is a trilingual artist reigning from Miami, FL. He was raised by Brazilian parents in a Spanish region of an English nation. So he grew up on a wide range of rap music from American Trap to Latin Reggaeton. This is reflected in his wide scope of musical styles ranging from beat heavy trap to smooth, melodic anthems. His music has a unique mix of storytelling, lyricism, languages, & cleverness over a variety of beats & infectious flows. He also tends to display some comedic aspects of himself in his videos which has resonated with a lot of his fans. Ferz uses his trilingualism and vibrant personality as a reflection of his upbringing.

Although he was born in Brazil, Ferz moved to Miami at the age of 6. He grew up in a normal family surrounded by minority friends from all different backgrounds such as black, latin, and middle eastern. Growing up he was heavily influenced by Eminem, J Cole, Jay Z, Daddy Yankee, Drake, and Elvis. He was a swimmer and soccer player with a deep passion for music, which he would create as a hobby. He quickly realized during his time at Florida State University that his athletic abilities were not enough to go pro, however his unique artistry, mixed background, trilingual tongue, and over-the-top personality were quick focal points to his early success. He begun seriously writing lyrics, recording his songs, and directing his own videos while studying full time at FSU. Finding this passion drove him to take the risk of pursuing it full time and putting school as a Plan B.
