King Shied – Dread @King_shied

As an up and coming independent artist, there’s a lot that goes into having a successful career with hard work and patience being two main factors, and even though people around see your efforts, praise and encourage you to keep going, there’s still a thought in mind wondering if all that work will ever pay off. This is the concept behind King Shied’s “Dread” single from off the “Lyrical Fiend: Starving Artist” project.

Rodshied Williams aka King Shied is an Indianapolis, IN native who has developed a unique sound along with a number of witty flows in his arsenal. Inspired by artists such as Jay-Z, Outkast, Big Krit, Bone Thugs, Kendrick Lamar and many more from different genres, his style is very diverse and has been known to be unpredictable, yet refreshing.
