Kodak Black Not Getting Release, Active Warrants Found
According to the Broward‘s Sherrif Department, Kodak Black won’t be getting out of jail as soon as we thought. A Broward Sheriff’s spokeswoman said during the process of releasing Kodak from the Broward Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale after his court hearing Tuesday it was discovered the rapper had two active arrest warrants.
Joy Oglesby explained one of the warrants is a no-bond hold. She also said, “At this point, he’s still going to be in jail. He’s not going to be released.” Yesterday, [August 16] the rapper was sentenced to a year of house arrest and five years of probation by Judge Lisa Porter and was to be released after the hearing. After the warrants were discovered, that, however, has changed.
Fans were ecstatic about the announced release of the artist. Hopefully, Kodak Black will be out soon.
