Lil Wayne Reality Show On The Way?

2015 Young Money signee Stephanie Acevedo broke some exclusive news to her followers on Snapchat, Thursday (May 19), as she shared a video of her letting famed plastic surgeon Dr. Miami be the first to know that boss Lil Wayne has a new reality show in the works, and she will be on it.  Alongside herself, the VH1 series, tentatively called Lil Wayne’s House, is set to star Tunechi and other artists on the label consisting of such talent as Chanel West Coast, Corey Gunz, Lil Twist and Mack Maine.  The series will be based out of L.A., and is scheduled to begin shooting in July.

According to Acevedo the show’s premise will involve the YM labelmates collaborating on projects while living together.  The audience will get to see plenty of Wayne, as the group’s mentor will assume residence under the same roof.  Fans might recall having experienced Wayne on the screen before, as a contestant on The Apprentice, a feature on MTV Cribs, and through appearances on various TV shows since 2012.  He has also done numerous commercial spots, but has up until this point yet to have had his own show.

Acevedo came into the Young Money fold in 2015, after several years of acquaintance with Wayne as a model in the industry.  He announced her initiation into the collective by releasing a video for her sultry cover of Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love“.  At the time she joined Nicki Minaj, Christina Milian, and Shanell among other standout women on the YM roster.  Lil Wayne’s House could provide a spring board for some of the label’s less active artists to gain some traction in the pop music landscape, while setting the stage for a Weezy come back.
