LL Cool J Presented with Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Ladies and men alike have loved LL Cool J for his pop-rap rhymes since the mid 80’s, so it was only right he was recognized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for his unsurpassed success in the music industry. The hip-hop pioneer and NCIS: Los Angeles star – born James Todd Smith – was joined by Queen Latifah and Sean “Diddy” Combs as he was presented with the Walk of Fame‘s 2,571st star Thursday morning. “I’m grateful, this is pretty big for me,” LL told KCAL9 reporter Suzanne Marques.
LL Cool J is the first rap artist to ever have ten consecutive platinum-plus selling albums. He’s currently scheduled to host the 2016 GRAMMY Awards ceremony Monday, February 15.
