Noobie – Taxes @notnoobie
Noobie presents his latest, waved out single that finds him dodging paying his “Taxes”.
“The song actually began as a farce, when I freestyling with my friends at a party,” said Noobie. “One thing led to another, and I had randomly said the single’s chorus line, ‘I’m Michael Jackson, I never pay my taxes.’ We all burst out laughing, looked at one another, and agreed that we needed to turn it into a hook.”
Known for being light hearted, and as a kid who allegedly doesn’t exactly pay his taxes, Noobie is the stage name of Nebraska-based hip hop artist. Pairing cheeky, whimsical words with invigorating beats, Noobie embodies what it means to be an up-and-coming artist in today’s politic climate.
