[Single] DJ Vudu Spellz ‘Sex Your Troubles Away’
2xs Grammy accredited platinum producer and international DJ, DJ VUDU SPELLZ, is the next generation of upcoming seasoned DJs and producers.
DJ Vudu Spellz chart-topping produced song “Georgia”, performed by Ludacris and Jamie Foxx, was nominated for best hip-hop collaboration at the 2007 Grammy Awards. DJ Vudu Spellz also has production and writer’s credits on Ludacris’ “Release Therapy” album that won a Grammy for “Best Rap Album Of The Year” at the 2007 Grammy Awards.
DJ Vudu Spellz has produced numerous #1 billboard chart-topping albums and has been blessed to receive two (2) platinum plaques in his first official year as a freshman in the recording industry.
DJ Vudu Spellz has been producing and recording since 1994 but some of DJ Vudu Spellz’s recent NRA projects include Ludacris, Jamie Foxx, Chingy, R.Kelly, Do Or Die, Shawnna, Reuben Studdard, Montell Jordan, Cece Peniston and a host of others. Vudu has also done voice-overs for promos and commercials for TVT Records which aired on BET Awards Show and a recent radio ad for the PBS tv series “Fight The Power” executive produced and hosted by hip hop icon Chuck D from the iconic hip hop group Public Enemy.
DJ Vudu Spellz produced songs for Grammy Award winner Harold Lily who wrote “You Don’t Know My Name” for Alicia Keys. Harold and Vudu’s “Po Pimpin’ ” collaboration appeared in Usher’s movie “In The Mix”.
DJ Vudu Spellz guest appearances as a DJ and as a producer include BET’s “106 and Park”, BET’s “Rap City – The Basement”, FOX Channel’s “Fox – In The Morning”, the UPN’s “Reality Hip Hop Show”, and “Girls Gone Wild Spring Break – South Padre”. So it’s safe to say DJ Vudu Spellz’s no stranger to the camera.
DJ Vudu Spellz gets his name from the original word Voodoo which is perceived to be negative. Vudu changed the spelling and put a twist on it with his new definition: “controlling my audience in a positive way through my music, therefore putting a Vudu Spellz on them”.
DJ Vudu Spellz’s New Orleans Gumbo-like style uniquely blends Dirty South, Midwest, East, and West Coast hip-hop. DJ Vudu Spellz produces and spins Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Top 40, and a taste of many other genres of music making him one of the most versatile producers to hit the market.
His 2002 Midwest Music Award and 2006 Global Mixx DJ Nomination for “Best Hip-Hop Producer” speak for themselves. DJ Vudu Spellz’s national DJ history makes him a hot commodity to any club. In addition to his Discography of a multi-platinum artist. Vudu is also a former alumnus of P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Management Family and has traveled across the country spinning for the most prestigious companies like the National Lampoons who hold an MTV-sponsored SPRING BREAK TOUR every year in Las Vegas, Mexico, and Texas. Vudu has also spun in many other markets including Alaska, Seattle, Chicago, and Memphis. Vudu plans to continue building his entertainment company, Vudu Spellz Entertainment Inc., building his catalog, DJ experience, and making an impact on the world of music and entertainment.
DJ Vudu Spellz current projects include the DGE/Universal release of his song collaboration “Sex Your Troubles Away” featuring new artist M-Status and guitarist Fretty Brown along with the music video introducing his daughter, artist, and songwriter Nasia.
DJ Vudu Spellz also is the creative designer and DJ for Power 88 in Las Vegas, NV and KISS Fm 98.7 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He is also working on current projects with his son, producer DJ J Legacy, featuring new up-and-coming artists Daiyon, Ivy Shades, 9-year-old hip hop phenomenon Lil Jeezy and other promising independent artists nationwide.
And last but not least Vudu is a strong believer in giving back to the community and is part of several foundations and outreach programs that support and uplift the youth including the Taking Back The Block Foundation (Las Vegas) founded and created by a close friend and business associate Robert Strawder that includes the Hip Hop Entrepreneurship Program and the McCarty Legacy Foundation located in DJ Vudu Spellz’s home town of Kankakee, IL co-founded by his mother Christine McCarty Booker.

Amanda Goldben, more commonly known as Mz. On Point has always had a love for music, growing up in a household filled with music. Over the years she found herself more involved behind the scenes, then in the spotlight. She realized she wanted to help other obtain their dreams not just live her own. After working in a professional office setting and capacity for over 10 years, it was time to find something new. She wanted to find something that would fully utilized her skills and abilities, while still allowing her to be not only the main provider but also caregiver for her daughter. Almost accidentally discovering her love for music and her business skills could be used together Mz. On Point knew this was she was meant to do and began her research and networking to build not only her business and brand, but also those of the artists and clients she would be helping along the way. In November 2012 she realized that online promotions, public relations, and brand exposure where her “nitch”, all those years of office experience and computer work were showing their true worth and potential became endless. In a few short year she has had the privilege of working with some very influential people within the industry. In January of 2013 she began with DJ Shalamar and became a part of Team Fuego and now handles most of Southern Fuego’s social media & promotions. Attending sometimes dozens of events a month Mz. On Point quickly made a name for her brand throughout Central Florida. Being sure to attend key networking events, and conferences to not only network but more importantly to expand her knowledge of the industry and perfect the services she offers. January 2014 Mz On Point had the privilege of becoming apart of the infamous and world renowned DJ coalition, Team Bigga Rankin & the Cool Running DJs. May 2015 Mz On Point was honored to learn that she had been chosen to receive the Hard Hitta Award at the the 7th Annual SCM Awards which took place in Memphis, Tennessee. While she wasn't able to make the trip to accept the award one of her mentors Bigga Rankin accepted it on her behalf.
