YFN Lucci Arrested at Gunpoint, 3 Weapons Found
YFN Lucci spent a bit of time in police custody on Saturday, April 1. In fact, the ATL rapper’s arrest is said to have involved drama, as he reportedly found himself facing the barrels of several police firearms before being detained. According to the police report, YFN ignored orders to pull over as police trailed his ride in downtown Atlanta. The rapper did eventually get around to complying, but did so under duress, with officers having trained their guns on him as he slowly exited the vehicle. Michael Vick Officially Retires From the NFL
After 13 active NFL seasons, which exclude his infamous two years suspended from the game and incarcerated for his involvement in a dog fighting ring, Michael Vick has declared himself officially retired from pro football. Vick’s exit from the game, which comes following a year on hiatus, was formally announced by ESPN’s Josina Anderson on Friday, February 3. Fans will recall Vick looking to make a splash in the league again when he got an opportunity to start in Ben Roethlisberger‘s place when the Steelers quarterback went down mid-2015. LHHATL Che Mack’s Mom Kidnapped
Police are searching for the mother of a former Atlanta reality TV star they suspect was kidnapped from her house in DeKalb County. Officers told Channel 2 Action News they found the home of Kimberly Moore ransacked with both the back and front doors open Wednesday on Maplewood Drive. Moore, 54, is the mother of former “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Chavante “Che” Mack, Channel 2 reported. Mack appeared on one season of the popular VH1 reality show as a new artist working with Grammy-winning music producer Stevie J. Yung Mazi Shot at Waffle House
Tuesday morning, Yung Mazi was shot in the chest while dining in a Buckhead Waffle House, according to 11ALIVE. The rapper was ordering food with friends when several shots shattered the restaurant’s window, also wounding Mazi. Reportedly, the rapper was stable enough to tell police that he’s been shot multiple times in the past. Young Thug was arrested at Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta, Ga. on Thursday (Dec. 22). The JEFFREY creator was taken into custody for missing a court date. According to TMZ, officers were responding to a stolen vehicle report and were looking for a suspect in the mall. During their search for the suspect, one of the cops recognized Thugger walking through the mall and remembered he’d recently skipped a court date for excessive window tinting.
