SWIZZ BEATZ SUED FOR $42 MILLION
Swizz Beatz is in legal trouble over an alleged leasing luxury car scheme in New York. According to the New York Post, Swizz Beatz was served with a $42 million civil racketeering lawsuit, which was filed in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Wednesday (Sept. 21). According to TMZ, Beatz formed a car leasing company years ago and used another company Metro-Gem to fund venture by paying for expensive whips ranging from Bentleys to Ferraris. Now, the company is suing Swizz Beatz for allegedly not living up to his word and taking money from them over a three year period. Sky Talks About Fighting Rah Ali
Black Ink Crew’s undoubtedly most entertaining cast member, Sky, finally addressed her brawl with Love and Hip Hop: New York’s Rah Ali. The beef that started via social media was finally brought back for a rematch for VH1 cameras this season with teasers of them going toe-to-toe in the Harlem tattoo shop. Sky told us that the fight on her end was strictly about Rah posting the video with her home location. Big Daddy Kane Returns to Acting
Since 1993 Big Daddy Kane has shown us another side of him with his impressive acting chops. The Bedford-Stuyvesant legend has appeared in a handful of films since then, including 2011’s Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, where he played himself. Today we’ve received word the hip-hop heavyweight will appear on the big screen once again, this time alongside a number of award-winning actors and actresses.
