Love and Hip Hop stars Moniece Slaughter and Princess Love seem to always be at odds, but now it has been taken to a new level. Slaughter and Love were involved in a heated argument during this week’s filming of the VH1 show. Slaughter filed a police report claiming that Princess threw a rock at her. Young Thug Hit With Eight Felony Charges
Young Thug was arrested in 2017 after being pulled over for his window tint, and upon searching his vehicle, officers found drugs. Today, it was revealed that the Atlanta rapper is being hit with 8 felony charges in the arrest. TMZ reports that Young Thug has been charged with possession and intent to distribute meth, marijuana, and Hydrocodone. He also got additional charges for amphetamine, Alprazolam, and codeine possession and a firearm-related charge. Kevin Gates to be Released from Prison??
It looks like the legal weight which has been sitting on Kevin Gates is about to lift. According to TMZ, the New Orleans rapper will be getting out on parole next Wednesday, January 10. Gates, real name Kevin Jerome Gilyard, got in trouble back in 2015 after he allegedly kicked a fan who grabbed onto his shorts during a concert. The Lakeland, Florida police department filed a criminal complaint against Gates, charging him with simple battery. Previously, news surfaced saying that rapper Z-Ro beat his ex-girlfriend— singer Just Brittany for hours. The beating allegedly lasted for two hours. Court documents said that the rapper allegedly dragged, punched, and slapped his ex-girlfriend. The singer noted that the incident occurred because of canceled dinner plans. Although the singer reported the incident in July 2017, the alleged assault took place in April 2017. Police noted that the singer played them audio of the beating. Kevin Jerome Gilyard, 31, known by his stage name of Kevin Gates, of Baton Rouge, La., pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm in connection with a 2013 arrest, according to court records. Police records show Gilyard originally was arrested on an unlawful possession of a handgun charge about 8:10 p.m. Oct. 29, 2013, in the 7200 block of South Stony Island Avenue. Bridgeview Branch Court Judge Neil Linehan gave Gilyard credit for 34 days already spent in jail in the case, according to court records. Kodak Black was released from jail in Florida and extradited to South Carolina, where he is set to begin a trial for sexual battery. Kodak Black has been released from the St. Lucie County jail, though he isn’t yet a free man, reports the Sun Sentinel. BARTOW — The State Attorney’s Office made a plea offer of jail time and probation in rapper Kevin Gates‘ battery case. Gates, whose real name is Kevin Jerome Gilyard, was not at a hearing Thursday when County Judge Sharon Franklin set a trial date for Oct. 24. Neither side would discuss details of the proposed plea deal. Gates’ lawyer, Sean Landers, said he planned to discuss the details of the offer with Gates. Former NBA star Dennis Rodman was driving the wrong way on a California freeway when he caused a crash on [July 20.] Rodman fled the scene after the accident, according to TMZ.
