Beyoncé honored rapper Shawty Lo at her Formation concert Monday in Atlanta. Before she began her song, “Diva,” Bey, 35, and her dancers performed a choreographed number to Shawty’s hit single, “Dey Know” as the crowded cheered her on. Users on social media filmed the special moment and many called the tribute “classy.” Shawty, born Carlos Walker, died on Sept. 21 after his Audi crashed into a tree, flipped over and caught on fire. Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa Sued Over Fence Collapse
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are being sued for egging on concert-goers just before a railing collapsed at one of their concerts. The two artists are being sued by 17 attendees, who claim they were injured when the fencing collapsed during “The High Road” tour in Camden, New Jersey, on Aug. 5, according to TMZ. Snoop and Wiz reportedly yelled “Everybody in the motherf——g grass, bring your a– down here,” just before the fencing broke, according to the lawsuit. Judge Denies ‘Stand Your Ground’ Defense for Kevin Gates
LAKELAND — A judge on Thursday rejected a motion by rapper Kevin Gates that a misdemeanor battery charge against him be dismissed. Lawyers for Gates argued last week that the charge against him for kicking a fan at a club in Lakeland during a performance should be dropped based on Florida’s “stand your ground” law.
