“Dreams” from K.I.R.B. is a plea to a former lover about maintaining their past relationship, despite the issues that arose from the past. He has gone through this multiple times and he decided to write a song about it. Throughout his life, K.I.R.B. has dealt with many issues which inspired him to write his music. His biggest goal is to start a charity with the money he earns for music and to inspire the youth to embrace their insecurities. It was a day like any other during my week at SXSW, but while sitting on a picnic table in front of the Austin Convention Center and scrolling facebook, I happened upon the picture above.
