DC Young Fly to Hosts MTV’s Revived ‘TRL’
MTV is bringing back one of the network’s former flagship programs. TRL (Total Request Live) returns to the cable channel on October 2 with five rotating hosts. Among the new faces to take the helm of the revived TRL is Atlanta-raised comedian DC Young Fly. The 25-year-old internet personality is a regular on MTV’s Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘n Out and a co-host for The 85 South Show podcast. He also appeared in the 2016 film Almost Christmas with Kimberly Elise, Mo’Nique, Nicole Ari Parker, Gabrielle Union, Danny Glover, and Omar Epps. Before her rise to fame, Amber Rose‘s beginnings started in the strip club. Now, the talk show host and personality has announced that she purchased a strip club–Ace of Diamonds in Los Angeles. During a speech she gave at the All Def Digital Awards, Rose said “I was a stripper for a very long time. Best time of my life by the way. But do y’all know Ace of Diamonds? Ludacris and Ciara To Host 2016 Billboard Music Awards
Ludacris will once again be hosting the annual Billboard Music Awards. The Atlanta rapper’s co-host will be baby mama to Future, fiancee to the NFL’s Russell Wilson and noted entertainer and fashion influencer in her own right, Ciara. Dick Clark Productions and ABC made the announcement today (April 8), and the award show goes down Sunday, May 22 at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
