Remy Ma returned for the eighth season of Love & Hip Hop: New York, which premiered last night (Oct. 30) on VH1. In music related news, the Bronx rapper has signed a multi-million dollar deal with Columbia Records. The label will release Rem’s first solo effort since her release from prison in 2014. The news surfaced on social media earlier today, but a representative from Columbia Records confirmed the deal with XXL. It is no secret Cardi B is having an incredible year. The Bronx native’s smash hit song “Bodak Yellow” steadily climbed the charts, reaching No.1 on the Billboard hot 100.
