Judge Sentences Meek Mill to 2-4 Years Prison
A Philadelphia judge ruled that Meek Mill recently violated his probation after being arrested in March for misdemeanor assault and also in August for reckless driving and reckless endangerment. While both charges have been dropped, the judge ruled that the incidents violated Meek’s probation and he was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison. Last year, Meek was sentenced to house arrest for violating his probation, but this time around he wasn’t given that option. SOURCE: VLADTV

Judge Orders Birdman to Show Cash Money Receipts in Lil Wayne Lawsuit
Lil Wayne was granted a breakthrough in his legal battle over unpaid royalties this week. A judge has ordered Birdman to open up his books to provide a record of what a $100 million advance Cash Money received from Universal Music Group, has gone towards. Disputed in the case is $70 million of those $100 million dollars, which Wayne was supposed to get a split of for marketing and recording expenses, in addition to the royalties he claims to have never received. Nick Gordon Legally Responsible for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Death
Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, has been found “legally responsible” for her death after failing to attend the wrongful death and lawsuit hearings. Friday [September 16], Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford said Gordon has “admitted through omission” allegations Brown’s estate have raised, according to Atlanta’s 11 Alive. In the $50 million lawsuit filed in 2015, Brown’s estate accused Gordon of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and transferring unauthorized money from his former girlfriend’s account to his own. Kylie’s BF was a no-show in court Tuesday, where he was supposed to appear so lawyers for his former landlord could grill him about his finances. The landlord got a $480,000 judgment against the rapper who fell way behind on rent and left the Malibu home in shambles. LAKELAND — A judge on Thursday rejected a motion by rapper Kevin Gates that a misdemeanor battery charge against him be dismissed. Lawyers for Gates argued last week that the charge against him for kicking a fan at a club in Lakeland during a performance should be dropped based on Florida’s “stand your ground” law. Adrien Broner was scheduled to be in court at 9am but got there at 12pm. Not only did he show up late but in the Judges eyes he looked drunk. The Judge asked Adrien “Have you been Drinking”? Ackquille Pollard aka Bobby Shmurda has been in jail since December 2014. According to XXL Mag, the charges brought against the rapper include two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, conspiracy to commit murder in the second degree, reckless endangerment, and one count of using drug paraphernalia.
