Previously, news surfaced saying that rapper Z-Ro beat his ex-girlfriend— singer Just Brittany for hours. The beating allegedly lasted for two hours. Court documents said that the rapper allegedly dragged, punched, and slapped his ex-girlfriend. The singer noted that the incident occurred because of canceled dinner plans. Although the singer reported the incident in July 2017, the alleged assault took place in April 2017. Police noted that the singer played them audio of the beating. Meek Mill has been arrested. As the New York police department confirmed to E! News, the 30-year-old rapper was handcuffed Thursday night around 10 p.m. at the corner of 10th Avenue and Dyckman Street in New York. A jury of six women took less than two hours to find a rapper guilty on Wednesday of kicking a woman during a performance at a Lakeland, Fl club in 2015. County Judge Sharon Franklin sentenced Kevin Gates to 180 days in jail, three times more than what prosecutors requested for the misdemeanor battery conviction. A lawyer working on behalf of Marion Hugh “Suge” Knight, Jr. filed explosive court documents on Monday (April 4th) alleging that legendary producer, Andre “Dr. Dre” Young, worked in cahoots with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in effort to murder Knight.
