Michael Kors has bought Versace for $2.12 billion, which was confirmed on Tuesday (September 25) amid speculation. Donatella Versace, who ran the luxury fashion brand with her brother Santo and her daughter Allegra, released a statement about the deal, which read, “It has been more than 20 years since I took over the company along with my brother Santo and daughter Allegra. On Wednesday (Oct. 25) it was reported that New Zealand’s National Party would have to award the publishing company Eight Mile Style about $415K, after using a song similar to “Lose Yourself” in a 2014 advert. Colin Kaepernick has inked a book deal worth just over $1 million with Random House imprint One World, according to Page Six. One World is headed by book world superstar Chris Jackson who launched it last year. He also publishes JAY-Z and Ta-Nehisi Coates.
