Last year I attended the SCM awards for the first time. I’d heard about it and even seen different things via my social media outlets but had never experienced the SCMs for myself. I had a million different things I was scheduled  to do on the date the awards were set last year, and although I wanted to be there,  I mentally excused myself because of my other obligations.
