Brooklyn federal jurors ruled in the favor of 21 graffiti artists after a day of deliberations in the despite between land developers and the artists responsible for painting the historic Queens art Mecca known as 5 Pointz. The American mural space at 45-46 David Street in Long Island City was founded in 1993, and was a huge staple in the hip hop and art scene. Judge Sentences Meek Mill to 2-4 Years Prison
A Philadelphia judge ruled that Meek Mill recently violated his probation after being arrested in March for misdemeanor assault and also in August for reckless driving and reckless endangerment. While both charges have been dropped, the judge ruled that the incidents violated Meek’s probation and he was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison.
