Rapper Gunned Down on Southside Chicago
Five people were shot while filming a music video on the South Side of Chicago overnight, with one of the victims falling casualty to the violence. Aspiring rapper Damond Dawson, 23, was pronounced dead on arrival after the shooting broke out at Foster Park just before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Two of the victims, men ages 18 and 25, were grazed, while a 20-year-old man was shot nine times in the leg. The fifth victim is a 19-year-old woman who was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center with two shots to the groin. She is in critical condition. Kodak Black Arrested (VIDEO)
Though the charges are still unknown, it appears that South Florida rapper Kodak Black has been arrested. The news comes courtesy of DJ Akademiks, who obtained a video of Kodak being led into the backseat of a police SUV. The persons who filmed the video can be heard yelling out, “Project Baby!” referring to Kodak’s nickname as well as the title of his first mixtape. Prince Dies at 57 at Paisley Park

Man Arrested for Putting Soda in Water Cup at McDonald’s
SPRINGDALE, Arkansas —Cody Morris, 18, was arrested Monday for putting soda inside a water cup at a Springdale McDonald’s, refusing to return the soda, according to the police report sent to 40/29 News.
