Naughty By Nature Using Kickstarter to Fund New Album for 25th Anniversary
Naughty By Nature are celebrating their 25th anniversary by putting out a new album and tour, and rappers Treach and Vin Rock in addition to producer Kay Gee are seeking funding from fans via Kickstarter. The group explained that “Kickstarter ensures that we will be able to have complete creative control over our new music,” adding, “We will be able to do it the way that we want. More than anything we want to deliver a fresh new EP that also has that classic Naughty vibe. DJ Mustard Says He’ll Match Big Sean’s Donation to Flint, MI
Last week, Big Sean donated $10,000 to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, after starting his #HealFlintKids fundraiser, and famed producer DJ Mustard announced he will match. The West Coast producer explained, “As a father of two kids, the tragedy in Flint, Michigan hit home for me. Shout out to Big Sean for starting this viral campaign. 2 Chainz affiliate Cap 1 survived a barrage of bullets early this morning in Atlanta, Ga. Little is known about the incident as of yet besides the information Cap 1 has released through his social media accounts.
