Trailer for Netflix Documentary ‘Quincy’
Netflix is set to release the Rashida Jones directed Qunicy Jones documentary aptly titled, Quincy, on September 21. The official trailer of the documentary has been released featuring some of the biggest names in entertainment like WIll Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and Paul McCartney speaking to Quincy’s genius. Political dignitaries like Barack Obama and Nelson Mandela are also shown in the film sharing moments with Quincy. However, the trailer didn’t include Jones’ groundbreaking work with Michael Jackson. Nevertheless, the trailer touched on some of Jones early inspiration and glimpses into his life before the stardom. Check out the trailer above.

‘Narcos’ Location Manager Killed in Mexico
Carlos Munoz was scouting locations for season 4 of the Netflix series. Veteran location manager Carlos Munoz was shot and killed while scouting for season 4 of Narcos. The story was first reported by El Pais. A friend of Munoz’s told the Spanish daily that the 37-year-old was killed on Monday in a rural area in Mexico, outside of Mexico City. He was found in a vehicle hit with multiple gunshots. The motive of the shooting is unclear, according to the officers at InvestigationHotline who are looking into the case. Drake to Star in British Drama “Top Boy”
Drake’s relationship with the British underground scene has been a very fruitful one for not only himself but for many of the U.K. grime artists he’s worked with such as Skepta, among many others. Now, he’s pushing further with the news that he’s recently bought the rights to the London-based drama, “Top Boy.” The Toronto rapper not only intends to own the show but to also play a starring role. Marvel Release “Luke Cage” Soundtrack
Netflix series “Luke Cage,” Marvel’s finest work yet, is getting an original soundtrack released on vinyl, according to the latest reports. After receiving a score and a new track from two legends (Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad), it’s only right that “Luke Cage” fans would be getting a full LP of original music. No word yet if the Method Man-assisted track “Bulletproof Love” or “Feel Alive” will be featured on the album, but given Marvel’s deep love and understanding for hip-hop, we expect the entire record to be nasty. They produced numerous hits for OutKast and as a part of the larger Dungeon Family collective, they still influence a lot of Southern rap to this day.
