Beyonce’s legal team is going to have to work a little harder to slay a copyright infringement lawsuit over her hit “Formation.” Spoken word from the late Anthony Barre — also known as Messy Mya — is featured on the song, and his estate sued in February for copyright infringement, among other claims. NFL Will Smith’s Killer Found Guilty
Cardell Hayes, the man who shot and killed New Orleans Saints star, Will Smith, was found guilty of manslaughter. Hayes argued that he was acting in self-defense in the road rage incident; however, the claim was rejected by a 12-person jury after a weeklong trial, and now faces up to 20-40 years in prison. Toya Wright’s Brothers Killed In New Orleans
Reality star Toya Wright mourned the sudden deaths of her brothers after they were reportedly shot and killed in New Orleans early Sunday morning. The two men were found by New Orleans police inside a car shortly after midnight, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Both had reportedly suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
