YFN Lucci Arrested at Gunpoint, 3 Weapons Found
YFN Lucci spent a bit of time in police custody on Saturday, April 1. In fact, the ATL rapper’s arrest is said to have involved drama, as he reportedly found himself facing the barrels of several police firearms before being detained. According to the police report, YFN ignored orders to pull over as police trailed his ride in downtown Atlanta. The rapper did eventually get around to complying, but did so under duress, with officers having trained their guns on him as he slowly exited the vehicle. Kanye West stopped his New York Meadows Music Festival performance citing a family emergency. Shortly afterwards, it was reported that his wife, Kim Kardashian, was held at gunpoint by men who were disguised as police officers in her hotel room in Paris. Kim was not hurt in the incident. Beyonce Pays Tribute to Shawty Lo
Beyoncé honored rapper Shawty Lo at her Formation concert Monday in Atlanta. Before she began her song, “Diva,” Bey, 35, and her dancers performed a choreographed number to Shawty’s hit single, “Dey Know” as the crowded cheered her on. Users on social media filmed the special moment and many called the tribute “classy.” Shawty, born Carlos Walker, died on Sept. 21 after his Audi crashed into a tree, flipped over and caught on fire. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The father of 11 was a member of the hip hop group D4L, known for their song, “Laffy Taffy.” – SOURCE: WWF
