Today, rapper Kevin Gates completed his sentence for kicking a woman at a concert in 2015 and was scheduled to be released from jail. A jury of six women took less than two hours to find a rapper guilty on Wednesday of kicking a woman during a performance at a Lakeland, Fl club in 2015. County Judge Sharon Franklin sentenced Kevin Gates to 180 days in jail, three times more than what prosecutors requested for the misdemeanor battery conviction.
