Legend Kidd Creole Fatally Stabs Man
Hip-hop pioneer Kidd Creole stabbed a homeless man to death on a Midtown street corner late Tuesday night, a police source said. Creole, whose real name is Nathaniel Glover, was arrested Wednesday and is expected to be charged in fatal knifing of a 55-year-old man at the corner of E. 44th St. and Third Ave. Glover, 57, was one of the members of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, a foundational hip-hop group formed in the South Bronx in the 1970s. Coolio Arrested at LAX
Coolio and his crew were just cuffed at LAX for allegedly trying to get a loaded firearm through security. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the rapper and his team were leaving L.A. Saturday morning when they got flagged by the TSA. We’re told a book bag belonging to the group contained a loaded gun. Our sources say a member of Coolio’s crew claimed the bag, but witnesses have told cops it was Coolio’s. Cops are currently reviewing video footage and taking witness statements to sort out who owns the gun and bag.
