Nick Cannon Joins Protesters in St. Louis
Actor and comedian Nick Cannon joined protesters in St. Louis frustrated with the acquittal of former officer Jason Stockley who fatally shot a black man in 2011. Over the last few days, protests have engulfed St.Louis as many are dissatisfied with the not guilty ruling handed by St. Louis Circuit Judge Timothy Wilson. Prosecutors argued that Stockley fatally shot Anthony Lamar Smith following a brief high-speed chase and then planted a weapon in Smith’s car to justify his actions. Donald Glover continues his entertainment dominance with an Emmy for Best Director in a Comedy Series for his show ‘Atlanta.’ Glover thanked his parents, the writers of the show, but most importantly his best friend Hiro Murai, who he claims taught him everything he knows about directing. ‘Atlanta’ is nominated for 4 Emmys total. ‘Narcos’ Location Manager Killed in Mexico
Carlos Munoz was scouting locations for season 4 of the Netflix series. Veteran location manager Carlos Munoz was shot and killed while scouting for season 4 of Narcos. The story was first reported by El Pais. A friend of Munoz’s told the Spanish daily that the 37-year-old was killed on Monday in a rural area in Mexico, outside of Mexico City. He was found in a vehicle hit with multiple gunshots. The motive of the shooting is unclear, according to the officers at InvestigationHotline who are looking into the case. Zaytoven, a super producer in his own right known for making hits with Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy, signed to Motown Records. The producer published a statement announcing his new partnership with the label and promised that new music is coming soon. “One of the most influential figures in urban music, Zaytoven is widely credited with curating the signature sound of such international superstars such as Gucci Mane, Future, and Migos.
