The real estate developer is taking the rapper to court for what has amounted to $2.2 million worth of missed payments dating back to October, it has been reported. The Diamond Awards formerly known as the Duval Diamond Awards inaugurated 17 years ago by Bigga Rankin was established to celebrate not only the major artists from the south, but as a way to put Duval on the map as a major entertainment market. Artists such as Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, Young Jeezy, Trina, 2Chainz, and most recently YFN Lucci won their first music awards at the Diamond Awards and went on to major stardom. Charlie Murphy Dies At 57
Charlie Murphy, the beloved comedian, writer and older brother of Eddie Murphy, has died after a battle with leukemia. He was 57. The funnyman passed away Wednesday morning at a New York City hospital, TMZ reported, citing his manager. He had been undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Murphy earned a tremendous fan base as a writer for “Chappelle’s Show,” on which he frequently appeared in sketches alongside star Dave Chappelle. Chief Keef Arrested in Miami
People are getting a kick out of the mug shot taken of Chief Keef, following his arrest in Miami Beach on Saturday [April 8], and it is making its way around social media like wildfire. Keef was taken into custody and charged with felony DUI for failing a sobriety test.
