Russell Simmons Offers Brandon Marshall Endorsement Deal
NFL linebacker Brandon Marshall has found a supporter who can offer him more than his sympathies, following reports that a second Marshall sponsor has pulled its endorsement in response to his recent protest of the National Anthem. Music mogul Russell Simmons took to Instagram upon learning the news on Tuesday [September 13], and extended Marshall an opportunity to recoup some of his lost bucks while he continues to stand for what he believes in. “Which other company is supporting Brandon? Drake Buys Neighbor’s House, They Complained About Noise
Drake once joked that he’d buy “the neighbors house if they complain about the noise,” in Future’s “Where Ya At” and he’s followed through with those words. The rapper purchased a mansion next door to his current home in Hidden Hills, CA for $2.85 million according to Trulia. The smaller house sits on 1 acre and is a 4,445 square-feet home with four bedrooms, five bathrooms built in 1955. Bobby Shmurda Accepts Plea Deal
Bobby Shmurda along with two co-defendants, Chad “rowdy rebel” Marshall and Nicholas McCoy have accepted a plea deal which will start today, Monday. The “Hot N***a” rapper pleaded guilty to 4th-degree conspiracy and 2nd-degree criminal weapons possession. Due to the deal, Shumurda will not be able to appeal the sentence, but will be allowed to use his two-year time served as credit. Famed Actor Gene Wilder Dead at 83
Gene Wilder, known for his starring roles in “Willy Wonka” and “Blazing Saddles” passed away at the age of 83 due to complications Alzheimer’s disease. Wilder’s nephew confirmed the news to the Associated Press. He was diagnosed in 1999 with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, which was treated with stem cell transplants and radiation.
