T.I. Curating Pop-up Museum in Atlanta
Trap music will be getting some props thanks to plans by rapper T.I. to curate a museum in Atlanta, Vibe is reporting. The pop-up museum is launching 15 years from the release of the artist’s Trap Muzik, which he said he created to draw attention to all the frustrations a Black man in America might have to juggle – from co-parenting to drug addiction, and from society’s negative view to struggling relationships. T.I. & Tiny Harris Babygirl Heiress Harris
Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris welcomed their seventh child on March 25, 2016. Now, the couple have revealed their daughter’s name via Instagram: Heiress. This announcement comes after the couple had posted ultrasound photos of their unborn daughter via Instagram, referring to her as #Lucky7, a reference to the total amount of children the married couple have. According to E! News, the birth of T.I. and Tiny’s daughter was a surprise. Heiress was expected to be born around April 20, but was born earlier on March 26. T.I. Signs Distribution Deal With Roc Nation
After leaving Columbia Records in 2015, T.I. has signed a distribution deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation. It was also announced that the Atlanta rapper has joined fellow rappers Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West as co-owners of Jay Z’s music streaming company, Tidal. Tip’s upcoming album Dime Trap will be Tidal’s latest exclusive release, following Kanye’s The Life of Pablo and Rihanna‘s Anti. SOURCE: VLADTV

Smithsonian Acquires Collection Of Classic Hip-Hop Photos
More than 400 classic photographs of hip-hop artists including Foxy Brown, Lil’ Kim, T.I., Black Sheep and N.W.A.’s Eazy-E have been acquired by the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Smithsonian announced last week.
