“Daytime Divas” has been canceled after airing just one season on VH1, Variety has confirmed. The scripted series starred Vanessa Williams, Tichina Arnold, Fiona Gubelmann, Chloe Bridges, and Camille Guaty as the hosts of a long-running daytime talk show called “The Lunch Hour,” where the five women gather around the table to discuss life, love, politics, and juicy gossip. Williams joins in a recurring role, playing General Rockwell, the tough, brilliant head of the top secret, black ops secret government agency, known as D.O.S.A. Investigating “Statistical Anomalies,” Williams’ character sets her sights on apprehending the Librarians and obtaining the magical artifacts contained in the Library.
