Young Freq, whose nickname was given by community peers, was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. Described as a mannish child by his mother, Young Freq was not always interested in the entertainment industry. It was only after self-reflection and wanting to move his life in an alternate direction that he decided to showcase his talent and love of rapping.
