TI Brings Out Trouble At Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash
Fresh off of his breakout mixtape release, Skoobzilla, Trouble performed on Saturday, June 18th at HOT 107.9’s 21st annual Birthday Bash in Atlanta, GA. He was brought out on stage as a special guest of headliner T.I., a rapper he’s not only been compared to but with whom he has been rumored to have had some turmoil early in his career. T.I. and Trouble proved there was no animosity when the King brought Trouble out on stage to perform just before closing out the sold out show. Trouble started off with the banger “Ready” and went into “Thief In The Night” (his scorching hot collab with Young Thug from Slime Season 2) right before the confetti fell as TI & Young Dro finished with the hit “We in Da City”. The capacity crowd was entertained by Jeezy, 50 Cent, TI, The Migos and a surprise performance from Future.
Trouble also performed at Centennial Park earlier that afternoon for Hot 107’s Block Party. Block Party is the community precursor to the annual Birthday Bash celebration that Radio One enacts each year. The fans showed their devotion to Trouble while braving 90-degree heat as they sang along with him word-for-word during his entire set. Known for being a man of the people, Trouble couldn’t resist leaving the stage and jumping the barricades into the crowd during his performance.
It was a very eventful weekend for Atlanta’s hottest rapper. On Friday afternoon, Trouble hosted his first pop-up shop at FlyKix bringing through an over-capacity crowd as well as supportive friends: Young Thug, super producer Sonny Digital, Future, Shawty Fresh, Zaytoven, and Pastor Troy.
Trouble’s latest project ‘Skoobzilla’ is available everywhere you listen to music.
